The best of both worlds
Our Continental breakfast buffet includes all of your favourite breakfast cereals, poached fruits, yoghurts, cheese, continental meats, smoked salmon and more. Then it’s time to loosen your belt and indulge in baked goodies including bagels, croissant, muffins and Danishes, all served with a selection of Joanna’s Jams, made right here in Hobart.
In addition to the Continental buffet, you’ll also get to choose a hot plated dish from our Breakfast Menu with dishes including Eggs Benedict, Smashed Avocado, the iconic ‘Tesoro Special’ and the Tesoro Breakfast Sandwich.
Keeping It Local
Fresh and house-made is what we do best at Tesoro, with Head Chef Glen Tilly and team working closely with Tasmania’s best local growers and artisan producers.
Our on Hobart breakfast menu you’ll find sourdough, charcoal-activated black bread and brioche baked by May and the team at Imago Bakery who specialise in hand-making artisan breads using only the highest quality ingredients.
Our bacon, chorizo and more come from Ziggy’s, while you can add a bit of indulgence to your breakfast with Tasmanian Rock Lobster fished locally by the team at Mures.

Mövenpick’s Famous Bircher Muesli
In a nod to Mövenpick Hotel Hobart’s Swiss heritage, enjoy a bowl of Mövenpick Bircher Muesli. With equal parts indulgence and goodness to get your day off to a great start, our muesli recipe is top secret but includes red berries, local honey and the decadence of whipped cream.
For Those Who Like to Sleep In
Go on, hit snooze… our Hobart Brunch menu kicks in from 11am and is available until 2pm, giving you plenty of time to round up your friends and head into the city for a relaxing and cosy brunch. Learn more or book a table.
Breakfast at Tesoro is available for $25 per person Continental only, or indulge in the Full Breakfast for $39 per person. Children 12 years and under $15 per child. Walk-ins only.
