Make this Mother's Day unforgettable with an Italian-style Nonna's Sunday lunch on 12 May 2024 at Tesoro for $45 per person. Treat your Nonna or Mamma to a deliziosa three-course set menu featuring grilled sourdough with Tasman Sea Salt and whipped brown butter, succulent Porchetta, and Anvers Tasmania chocolate mousse with house-made honeycomb (with Tasmanian honey) and berry compote.

In Italy, porchetta can refer to a roasted whole suckling pig, an older pig, or just the pork belly roll, and our 'porchetta tronchetto', filled with fragrant fennel seeds, garlic, lemon, parsley, and wine, needs to be marinated for 15 hours with a special sauce before roasting for a crispy skin. This glorious creation, specially crafted by Chef Glen, makes Nonna's Sunday Lunch extra special. The pork meat itself comes from Freshline Meats, recognised as the leading supplier of meat products to the food service industry in Tasmania.
